A group of squatters has taken over his $16.1 million pub, York & Albany, using the chef's own kitchen appliances to barricade themselves inside, as reported by The Sun.
The Sun's shocking images reveal the squatters, described as "professional," occupying the pub, which Ramsay was on the verge of transferring to new partners in a multi-million dollar deal. One individual was photographed lounging barefoot on a black leather sofa in the restaurant, surrounded by personal items and debris, including empty wine bottles.
A dirty plush dog toy was also spotted on the floor near the upscale front bar, a stark contrast to the fresh flowers and expensive cocktails that adorned the area months ago. Another unkempt man, with two black eyes, a large hoodie, flip flops, and athletic tape around his knee, was seen wandering around the pub's exterior.

A source told The Sun, "It's an absolute nightmare scenario for poor Gordon." The source explained that the pub was temporarily closed while Ramsay was finalizing a new lease. During this transition period, a group of professional squatters managed to bypass all the security and CCTV, gaining access to the building.

The squatters have now barricaded themselves inside the building and are gradually taking over, leaving their belongings everywhere and boldly declaring the pub as their new home. The insider revealed that there are at least six "professional squatters" — five men and one woman — residing in the restaurant and its attached bedrooms. The source expressed concern about the potential damage and filth left by the squatters.

Ramsay has reportedly contacted the police to obtain an eviction notice, but the process is proving to be a "nightmare." The squatters have threatened legal action against anyone attempting to evict them.
Identifying themselves as "The Occupiers," the group posted a notice on the front door asserting their right to stay in the pub, claiming it is a "non-residential building." The notice warns against any attempts to forcibly remove them, threatening prosecution, potential imprisonment, and fines.

This is not the first time the York & Albany pub has caused Ramsay significant trouble. In 2015, the "Master Chef" star was involved in a failed legal battle to extricate himself from the lease, which caused a rift within his family.
Ramsay was ordered to pay $797,000 in rent after his father-in-law, Christopher Hutcherson, allegedly used a "ghost writer" machine to forge Ramsay's signature on a legal document.
