Rudy Giuliani flung himself into a heated exchange with a heckler in Manhattan on Sunday, throwing insults at the man and calling him a “brainwashed a**hole.”

Giuliani, 77, was walking in a pro-Israel rally through the city, walking behind Mayor Eric Adams.

Waving the Israeli flag, Giuliani can be seen in a clip filmed by Jacob Kornbluh, senior political reporter at The Forward, halting when someone in the crowd yells at him.

“I reduced crime, you jackass!” Giuliani shouts at the man, citing his time as mayor, from 1994-to 2001.

As Giuliani walks away, one of the hecklers continues to yell - causing Giuliani to turn around and go back.

“You are a brainwashed a**hole,” Giuliani says. “You are probably as demented as Biden.”

The specifics of the heckler’s insults were unclear.

Giuliani was once comprehensively favored in the city for his leadership as mayor - especially after 9/11. However, his work as a lawyer for President Donald Trump - a man disliked by many in the strongly Democratic-leaning city - has soured his reputation for many New Yorkers.

Last week, Giuliani spoke to the January 6th Committee for nine hours, as the panel continues to investigate Trump’s election overturn effort by reaching out to Republican lawmakers and other figures.

The panel had long wanted to bring in Giuliani - who spoke at the January 6 “Stop the Steal” rally and called for the election to be decided with a “trial by combat.”

Giuliani and his team had previously claimed that they would be allowed to record his interview with the Committee, evoking an earlier scheduled interview to be canceled.

Unlike some other top figures in Trump’s circle, including former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and former chief White House strategist Steve Bannon, who are fighting their subpoenas in court, Giuliani elected to speak to the panel.

The Committee statement accompanying Giuliani’s January subpoena said he and other individuals “advanced unsupported theories about election fraud, pushed efforts to overturn the election results, or directly contacted the former President about attempts to stop the counting of electoral votes.”

Giuliani holds close contact with Trump and his circle - despite the President’s ongoing push to try and turn back Joe Biden’s election win. During the heat of Trump’s post-election maneuvering, Giuliani appeared at an infamous press conference at the Republican National Committee along with “Kraken” lawyer Sidney Powell.

During the heat of Trump’s post-election maneuvering, Giuliani also appeared at a press conference at the Republican National Committee along with disgraced “Kraken” lawyer Sidney Powell.

At the event, Giuliani sweated enough that his hair dye ran down his face - sparking a firestorm of online mockery that overshadowed the false claims of election fraud.
