From May 27 to June 1, 2024, the 77th World Health Assembly (WHA) will convene in Geneva, Switzerland.

This gathering, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), will host global elites and leaders from Western nations. The assembly will see representatives from all 194 WHO member countries voting on significant amendments to the International Health Regulations. These amendments, if passed, will effectively transfer all power from sovereign nations to the WHO's global health board during a pandemic.

The WHO will also be given the sole authority to define what constitutes a pandemic. Over the past years, we have witnessed a broad range of issues being classified as 'existential threats to public health.' These include misinformation, parental protests at school boards, free speech, and racism. The prospect of the WHO having unrestricted authority to determine these measures is a cause for concern for every American.

Moreover, the proposed changes include plans for a mandatory and universal vaccine passport system, supervised by the WHO. The organization has already contracted a German-based company, T-Systems, to develop the technology.

It is worth noting that on July 1, 2023, the WHO adopted the EU system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system. This system aims to protect citizens worldwide from ongoing and future health threats, including pandemics. This initiative is the first step towards the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network, which will develop a system for global verification of health documents.

In a joint announcement by the WHO and T-Systems, it was stated that the WHO is setting up a gateway to facilitate the introduction of digital vaccination certificates by its member states. This system will enable the verification of QR codes on electronic vaccination certificates across national borders. The system is intended to serve as a standard procedure for other vaccinations, such as polio or yellow fever, after COVID-19.

However, it is important to remember that the WHO is an international, unelected, and unaccountable body with no regard for individual freedoms. The organization is led by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who has been accused of spreading outright lies and imposing crippling restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response to these developments, 44 Republican senators have written a strongly worded letter to President Joe Biden, urging him to reject two forthcoming international agreements under consideration at the WHO that could compromise U.S. sovereignty.

In their collective statement, the senators criticized the WHO's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, calling it an absolute and predictable failure that caused significant harm to the country. They assert that the United States must demand comprehensive reforms within the WHO before considering any amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) or engaging in new treaty negotiations that would extend the organization's authority.

The senators' letter states, “Next month, during the Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly (WHA), your administration is expected to commit the United States to two international agreements that would strengthen the World Health Organization’s (WHO) authority to declare public health emergencies of international concern and expand the WHO’s authority over member states during such emergencies. This is unacceptable."

The senators also expressed their deep concern over the WHO's most recent publicly available draft of its new pandemic response treaty. They argue that instead of addressing the WHO's well-documented shortcomings, the treaty focuses on mandated resource and technology transfers, shredding intellectual property rights, infringing free speech, and supercharging the WHO.

The United States is not alone in its concerns. Last month, a significant demonstration took place in Japan's Ikebukuro district, drawing attention to the WHO's proposed Pandemic Treaty. The treaty has sparked controversy and fear among citizens, leading to one of the largest protests in recent Japanese history. Protesters voiced strong opposition to mandatory vaccinations and the potential infringement on Japan’s sovereignty.
