For years, billionaire philanthropist George Soros has been known for his generous funding of progressive, neo-Marxist leftist groups.

Recently, it has come to light that his financial support extends to groups and individuals who deny the existence of Israel. This revelation is particularly significant given that his son, Alexander Soros, now heads the Open Society Foundations, an organization that has been linked to funding pro-Hamas demonstrations and encampments on university campuses across the United States.

These campus "occupations" bear a striking resemblance to the encampment in Kyiv's Maidan Square during the winter of 2004-2005. During this time, George Soros was instrumental in funding the Orange Revolution. His support extended to the 2014 demonstrations of the Maidan Revolution, which earned him the Order of Freedom from the Ukrainian president he helped elect, Petro Poroshenko.

Soros's influence is not limited to these political revolutions. He is also a key figure behind a decades-long effort that has culminated in a wave of anti-Semitic attacks on Israel and Jews worldwide.

In 2007, when Hamas, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, seized control of Gaza, Soros criticized Israel for its refusal to recognize the "democratically elected Hamas government." He conveniently overlooked the fact that Hamas, an Islamist terrorist group, openly advocates for the eradication of the Jewish state of Israel.

Soros's financial support extends to Israeli-Jewish and Israeli-Arab leftist groups, as well as media outlets that oppose Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This is in addition to his substantial funding of Palestinian-led groups and pro-Palestinian Jewish, Christian, and Muslim organizations that advocate for boycotts, divestments, and sanctions against Israel. Among the many groups Soros funds are Students for Justice in Palestine and the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, both of which are leading violent demonstrations on college and university campuses.

Several organizations backed by Soros's foundations have documented ties with U.S.-designated terrorist groups. All of these organizations support the election and appointment of anti-Israel activists to Congress, the administration, and international nonprofit organizations. The specifics of Soros's long-standing campaign against the Jewish state are outlined in "The Soros Agenda."

Despite the mounting evidence, the Open Society Foundations have consistently denied funding such activities. In 2019, Soros's spokesman, Michael Vachon, attempted to deny the foundations' support of BDS groups. However, he conceded that they often do not know how their support is utilized. "The foundation[s] cannot track every project connected to every organization that ... [they have] supported over the decades," he stated.

The Open Society Foundations and their well-funded proxies consistently criticize Israel for its efforts to curb the activities of Palestinian terrorist groups posing as human rights charities. They echo Hamas's lies about Israel, and their rhetoric is subsequently used by the United Nations, the European Union, and Biden’s State Department to further criticize Israel.

The exact amount of money Soros has funneled into pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and anti-American groups remains uncertain due to the notorious opacity of the Open Society Foundations. However, it is clear that Soros's funding extends beyond the pro-Hamas and anti-American demonstrations currently taking place on campuses. He has been a driving force behind a decades-long effort that has resulted in a surge of anti-Semitic attacks on Israel and Jews worldwide.
