Veteran Democratic political strategist James Carville has launched a scathing attack on young voters who may abstain from voting in the upcoming November elections, potentially paving the way for another Donald Trump presidency.

In a recent video clip, Carville expressed his fears about the consequences of such a scenario. "If they get a hold, there will be no government left, there will be no rights left, you will live under theocracy, you'll end up with Christian nationalism. But that's alright you little 26-year-old!" Carville said with a hint of sarcasm.

Carville then mimicked the apathetic attitude of some young voters, saying, "You don't feel like 'the election's important to me. They're not addressing the issues that I care about.'"

Carville's remarks have sparked a wave of reactions, with some observers seemingly enjoying his outburst.

Last month, Carville stirred controversy within his own party by suggesting that the Democrats are dominated by "too many preachy females." Earlier this year, he criticized President Joe Biden for not participating in the traditional presidential interview during the Super Bowl halftime, interpreting it as a sign of his staff's lack of confidence in him.

In December, Carville expressed concern about Christians like House Speaker Mike Johnson, describing their beliefs as one of the greatest threats to the United States, even more significant than al-Qaeda.

Johnson responded to Carville's comments, saying, "It's twisted and shameful that a leading Democrat strategist says millions of Christians in America are a greater threat than foreign terrorists who murdered more than 3,000 Americans. The Democratic Party should condemn this. But they won’t."
