In a recent interaction with the media, President Joe Biden responded with a cryptic "That's classified" when questioned about the motives behind Congresswoman Lauren Boebert's decision to switch congressional districts in Colorado.

This move by Boebert, a staunch Republican known for her far-right views, came on the heels of Biden's visit to her district and a series of scandals that have plagued her political career over the past year.

Boebert announced her decision to switch districts in December, opting for a seat perceived as more conservative and thus safer for her political aspirations. This move was interpreted by some as a strategic retreat following the President's visit to her district, which she has often criticized.

The question posed to Biden by a reporter from MeidasTouch was, "Just a few weeks after you were in Pueblo, Colorado, Congresswoman Boebert left her district. Is that a coincidence or Dark Brandon at work?" The President's response, though light-hearted, did not provide a clear answer.

Boebert has been a vocal critic of Biden's administration. During his State of the Union address in 2022, she heckled the President over the death of 13 US service members during the US withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. This interruption occurred while Biden was discussing battlefield conditions that may contribute to veterans developing cancer.

In 2023, Boebert lambasted Biden for his alleged "war on fossil fuels and his Green New Deal agenda," claiming these policies have adversely affected the residents of Colorado's 3rd District. This criticism followed Biden's reference to her as "one of the leaders of (the) extreme MAGA movement" during a speech in her district.

Prior to her decision to switch districts, Boebert held a seat in Colorado's third district, which was considered a safe Republican stronghold.

Despite predictions by FiveThirtyEight that she would win the 2022 election by nearly 14 percentage points, she narrowly defeated Democratic challenger Adam Frisch.

Boebert's decision to run in Colorado's fourth district for the 2024 election appears to be a strategic move to avoid a potential rematch with Frisch. In a peculiar interview in January, she attributed her decision to switch districts to donations made by "Hollywood elites" Barbra Streisand and Ryan Reynolds to Frisch's campaign.

However, early polls suggest that Boebert may be facing challenges in the fourth district, with one poll placing her in fifth place. Her political career has been marred by personal scandals, including being ejected from a performance of the musical Beetlejuice for inappropriate behavior and facing family issues such as divorce and the arrest of her adult son on trespass and theft charges.
