The accused, identified as 29-year-old Ephraim Matthew Hunter, is facing charges of burglary, as per a statement by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Hunter allegedly gained entry into the Mayor's home by shattering a window. The LAPD stated, “Around 6:40 AM this morning an individual smashed a window to gain entry into the Getty House while occupied.”
At the time of the alleged intrusion, Mayor Bass and her family were present in the house, law enforcement officials confirmed. However, it remains unclear whether Bass came into direct contact with the alleged intruder.
