Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has accused former President Donald Trump of harboring dictatorial ambitions, alleging that he wishes to eliminate and incarcerate his political adversaries, akin to global autocrats.

In a recent conversation on the Democracy Docket with Mark Elias, Clinton, after expressing admiration for President Biden, asserted that Trump is facing "91 felony, criminal indictments." She questioned, "Do we really expect him to govern in a stable, appropriate, rules-based, respectful way?" before shifting the discussion to international politics.

Clinton characterized Trump's rapport with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a "bromance," a term she claims was coined by the former Australian Prime Minister after observing Trump's apparent infatuation with Putin. "Because Putin does what [Trump] would like to do," she alleged. "Kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalist and others into exile, rule without any check or balance. That's what Trump really wants."

Clinton further argued that Trump admires "strong men leaders," citing Putin, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and North Korean leader Kim Jung Un as figures whom the former president aspires to emulate.

Trump, who is currently grappling with multiple indictments, has dismissed these allegations as a "witch hunt." In a statement released on Saturday regarding his Manhattan case, which accuses him of falsifying documents to silence adult film actress Stormy Daniels, Trump remarked, "They waited and brought it right in the middle of my presidential campaign against the worst and most incompetent president ever, crooked Joe Biden."

In August, Trump contended that the "crazy indictments" against him "should be viewed as campaign contributions to crooked Joe Biden and his radical left thugs." He further suggested, "This will be their updated form of cheating and election interference."

Despite these claims, Clinton maintains that Putin meddled in the 2016 election, which she lost to Trump, because "he knew I would deal with him in an appropriate way."
