In a recent revelation, Hannah Fraher, Director of House Operations for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), has been found to have a strong anti-Trump sentiment, as evidenced by a series of emails obtained by Breitbart News.

Fraher, who holds a significant position in Johnson's office, is responsible for all matters related to the Capitol grounds and access to the building. She was appointed to this role in November 2023, shortly after Johnson assumed the speakership.

Fraher's professional background includes a stint as a senior counsel on the House Committee on Administration and a role in Johnson's personal office. She also served as a legal aide for Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) and has held various Republican positions over the past decade, including an internship for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) in 2013 when Rubio was advocating for the Gang of Eight amnesty plan in the Senate.

The emails obtained by Breitbart News reveal Fraher's vehement opposition to former President Donald Trump. In May 2023, when the DC Young Republicans endorsed Trump for President, Fraher expressed her disapproval in a series of messages. The endorsement, issued on May 24, 2023, at 8:12 p.m. ET, stated, "Now, more than ever, we need a champion. We need a leader that knows how to fight and who to fight. We need a President that puts America First. We need Donald J. Trump in 2024."

The timing of this endorsement was significant as it coincided with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis's entry into the 2024 GOP presidential primary against Trump. DeSantis had launched his campaign just hours earlier on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, with Elon Musk.

Fraher, in response to the DC Young Republicans' endorsement announcement, accused the group of violating its bylaws and demanded a refund of her dues. She also threatened to leave the group. The DC Young Republicans responded to her request for a refund with a curt "NO REFUNDS!" Fraher retorted with an obscenity, calling the group's response "fucking ridiculous" and labeling them a "joke." The group dismissed her concerns, replying, "Don't care loser."

Sources familiar with the situation told Breitbart News that Fraher's anti-Trump sentiment extended beyond these emails. She reportedly criticized Trump frequently and expressed her disapproval of him to several people. According to these sources, Fraher often complained about Trump's personality and stated that she could never support him for President in 2024.

At the time of these email exchanges, Fraher was serving as a "senior counsel" in Johnson's personal congressional office, according to her LinkedIn profile. She later worked for the House Administration Committee from June 2023 to November 2023. Johnson became Speaker of the House in October 2023, following the ousting of then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Shortly after, he reappointed Fraher to his team in her current senior capacity.

Raj Shah, Johnson's spokesman, has not responded to Breitbart News's detailed questions about Fraher's anti-Trump sentiments and whether Johnson still has confidence in her. Shah also did not answer a question about whether Fraher still opposes Trump or if she supports him now that he is the presumptive GOP nominee for President. "Not commenting," was Shah's brief response to these inquiries.

Sources have also indicated that Fraher has recently expressed her intention to seek a position in a potential future Trump administration, should Trump win the election in November. It remains unclear whether her previous anti-Trump sentiments would affect her chances of securing such a position.
