A man from Texas is currently in legal trouble after reportedly committing a series of crimes in a Houston park, as per local sources.

Josue Carranza, aged 42, is now facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, and sexual assault, as indicated by records from Harris County.

According to court documents from KHOU-11, in March, Carranza allegedly targeted a group of individuals at Clark Park who had just finished exercising, robbing them at gunpoint.

Reportedly residing with his wife and mother-in-law near the park, Carranza then forced one of the victims into a vehicle, compelled her to withdraw money from an ATM, and subsequently took her to a store, the complaint reveals.

The situation escalated when Carranza allegedly sexually assaulted the victim at gunpoint in MacGregor Park after coercing her to drive there.

Fortunately, the victim's friends managed to trace a stolen phone, leading to Carranza's apprehension with the assistance of law enforcement, as reported by KHOU.

During a recent court hearing, a Harris County judge emphasized the severity of the crimes, setting a bond of $125,000 for each of the six charges brought against Carranza.
