Forrie J. Smith, the actor renowned for his role in the popular series "Yellowstone," recently claimed that he was ejected from a flight due to his refusal to sit next to a masked passenger.

The incident occurred in Houston, Texas, where Smith found himself stranded at the airport. He took to Instagram to share his experience with his substantial following of half a million.

In a brief video clip, Smith began, "You know my social media people tell me that you like me face to face, but you know what I can't say face to face what I want." He then revealed, "I just got kicked off a plane, and … where the hell am I at – Houston, Texas – because I told them I didn't feel comfortable sitting next to somebody with a mask on."

Smith continued to express his frustration, stating, "Ya, I've been drinking. I've been sitting in an airport for three hours. Ya I'm drinking. I ain't drunk, but they throw me off the plane because I'm drunk, because you people won't stand up and tell everybody what bulls--t this is." He reiterated, "I just told them I didn't feel comfortable about sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask, and I'm off the plane."

The specific airline Smith was traveling with and the precise reasons for his removal from the flight remain unclear. Fox News Digital's request for comment from Smith's representatives was not immediately answered.

This incident follows Smith's absence from the 2022 Screen Actor's Guild awards due to stringent protocols mandating vaccination against the coronavirus for all attendees. The rules also stipulated that guests should have received a booster shot, provide a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event, and wear a mask.

In a video that has since been deleted from Instagram, Smith apologized to his followers for his absence from the awards, stating, "I mean no offense to anyone. I’m not vaccinated, and it’s a requirement to be vaccinated." He further declared, "I will not get vaccinated. I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don’t vaccinate my dogs, I don’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve never had a flu shot. Never will. I believe they compromise your immunities."

Smith, who portrays Lloyd Pierce in "Yellowstone," had intended to grace the red carpet at the awards show, but his personal beliefs prevented him from doing so.
