Three minors, aged 11, 12, and 16, were apprehended in Texas on Tuesday in connection with a bank heist in Houston, as per authorities.

The trio had been sought since the previous week for allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Houston's Greenspoint area, situated on the North Freeway and West Road.

According to FBI Houston's social media post, "All three bank robbery suspects known as the 'little rascals' are in custody."

The juveniles face local charges of robbery by threat. Due to their age, officials have refrained from disclosing their identities or further particulars.

Fox News Digital contacted the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the investigating body, for comments but has not received an immediate response.

Reportedly, the boys absconded with an unspecified sum of money after entering the bank at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday and presenting a threatening note to a teller, as per KTRK-TV, citing the sheriff’s office. Although no weapons were brandished, authorities suspect the minors were armed.

The sheriff’s office informed the local station that two of the boys' parents surrendered them following the FBI's circulation of surveillance images. The third minor was apprehended after being identified post a scuffle. Additionally, a weapon was seized by authorities.

The involvement of adults, as well as the recovery of the stolen funds, remains uncertain.
