The alleged perpetrator, a 50-year-old man, was apprehended by Fort Lauderdale Police, as disclosed by South Florida Sun Sentinel. The individual faces charges including arson, criminal mischief, and possession of cocaine. Authorities mentioned that the suspect may be dealing with mental health issues, as per Fox News.

Despite the significant setback, Las Olas Chabad is determined to reconstruct the center, with estimated costs amounting to $1 million, according to The Jerusalem Post. The Chabad affirmed, "Despite the tremendous setback this will cause, we will rebuild our home!"
