In the contemporary American political landscape, the term 'undocumented immigrant' has become a euphemism for 'illegal alien.'

This linguistic shift, a product of progressive doublespeak, has blurred the lines between legality and illegality, and has led to a growing confusion about the rights and privileges of noncitizens in the United States.

The U.S. and state constitutions explicitly prohibit noncitizens, regardless of their legal status, from participating in the nation's electoral process. Yet, there are growing concerns that this constitutional mandate is being undermined. Mississippi's Secretary of State, Michael Watson (R), in a letter to the Department of Justice, stated, "The Department of Justice appears to be using taxpayer dollars to have jails and the U.S. Marshals Service encourage incarcerated felons and noncitizens to register to vote."

Watson's letter, dated March 6, addressed to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, further expressed his shock at the Biden administration's decision to use tax dollars and law enforcement resources on a program that risks bloating state voter rolls with ineligible and non-citizen voters, especially amidst a crisis at the southern border and an unprecedented crime wave.

The Federalist, in an analysis of President Biden's Executive Order 14019, highlighted the administration's directive to federal agencies to interfere in state and local election administration by using U.S. taxpayer money to boost voter registration and get-out-the-vote activities. Shawn Fleetwood, a Federalist author, connected these dots to the DOJ's alleged encouragement of illegal aliens and felons to vote.

Watson's letter, as reported by Fox News, stated, "Our understanding is that everyone in the Marshals’ custody is given a form advising them of their right to register and vote." He further warned that providing ineligible non-citizens with information on how to register to vote undoubtedly encourages them to illegally register to vote, exposing them to legal jeopardy beyond their immigration status.

The implications of these actions are far-reaching and potentially detrimental to the integrity of the American electoral system. According to an article in the Midwesterner, an illegal group claims credit for flipping the Michigan state House, and as a payoff, the party in power will seek to approve driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.

President Biden, in his State of the Union Address, referred to the alleged brutal killer of Laken Riley as an “illegal.” He later expressed regret for his choice of words, stating, “I shouldn’t have said ‘illegal.’ It’s undocumented.” This linguistic shift, from 'illegal' to 'undocumented,' is not merely a matter of semantics. It is a strategic move designed to change the narrative and perception of illegal aliens in the United States.

Vivek Ramaswamy, during a March 7 interview with Laura Ingraham at Fox News, attributed the law-breaking to a deliberate and coordinated effort to change the electorate to win elections. He pointed out that election integrity and illegal immigration have become intertwined and are intimately linked. He further stated, “A nation without borders is not a nation,” emphasizing the need for a clear vision and strong leadership to uphold the integrity of the nation's borders and its electoral system.

In Michigan, former gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon alleged a quid pro quo had taken place in the newly elected Democrat MI State Rep. Betsy Coffia’s election campaign. Dixon claimed that illegal aliens organized Coffia's election ground game in exchange for driver’s licenses.

Michigan’s HB 4410, the Drive SAFE Act, was introduced on April 13, 2023, and referred to the House Regulatory Reform Committee. This legislation, if passed, could potentially open the door for non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections, further undermining the integrity of the American electoral system.

Despite the mind-blowing affront to common sense, it appears that progressive activists are also encouraging foreigners residing outside our nation’s borders to vote. This alarming development underscores the urgent need for a comprehensive review and reform of the nation's electoral laws to protect the integrity of American democracy.
