In recent developments, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has been vocal in his call for a regime change in Israel, targeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This follows reports of the White House's alleged attempts to oust Netanyahu. The Israeli Prime Minister, however, remained undeterred, vowing to continue his pursuit of Hamas in Rafah. He emphasized the necessity of this action for Israel's safety and claimed that the Israeli populace was in agreement with him. According to Netanyahu, 75% of the population supports the move to eliminate Hamas in Rafah.

Vice President Joe Biden echoed Schumer's sentiments, labeling them as "good" and expressing that they represented a "serious concern shared not only by him but by many Americans."

Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has also joined the chorus of voices against Netanyahu during her interview with Dana Bash on CNN. Pelosi defended Schumer's criticism of Netanyahu and what she termed as the "dangerous" stance of the Israeli government. She accused Israel of blocking food supplies, a claim that she made without providing any substantial evidence.

Pelosi further attacked Netanyahu, accusing him of attempting to "interfere in American elections" and "barging into our country." She defended her stance by arguing, "What is wrong with advocating for elections in a democracy." However, critics argue that advocating for elections during a war could potentially undermine the country's efforts.

Pelosi's argument has been deemed as contradictory by some, as those who have previously complained about "election interference" are now seemingly trying to interfere in Israel's government. Critics argue that the Democrats are attempting to unseat Netanyahu at a crucial time when he is battling Hamas. Pelosi has also been accused of rewriting history and ignoring former President Barack Obama's alleged interference in Israeli elections in 2015.

In an interview with Netanyahu, Dana Bash seemed to push the Democratic narrative, pressuring the Israeli Prime Minister about elections. Critics argue that it is not up to the United States to dictate when Israel should hold their elections.

Critics suggest that the Democrats' actions are aimed at undermining the right in Israel and appealing to the left-wing base in the United States, as Biden faces challenges in the upcoming November presidential election. Critics argue that the focus should be on what is best for both Israel and the U.S., which is the total defeat of Hamas.
