Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris and a recognized fashion model, has been publicly soliciting funds for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) via her Instagram page.

This organization has been linked to the horrific massacre of over 1,100 Jews in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, an event that has sent shockwaves around the globe.

The UNRWA has been implicated in the Hamas-led attack, which also resulted in 200 individuals being taken hostage and transported back to Gaza. The New York Post has reported on this matter, stating, "The stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris is publicly raising cash for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency — even as the United States has cut funding to the group over its members’ alleged participation in the Oct. 7 terrorist attack in Israel."

Emhoff, whose father is second gentleman Doug Emhoff, has been actively promoting a link to UNRWA’s English-language fundraising page on her personal Instagram account. Hillel Neuer, Executive Director of the nonprofit United Nations watchdog UN Watch, has urged Emhoff to familiarize herself with the organization's reports. He stated, "We urge Ms. Emhoff to go on the website of UN Watch and read our reports showing how UNRWA teachers and school principals systematically promote and encourage Jihadi terrorism and the slaughter of Jews."

Neuer further expressed his belief that if Emhoff were aware of how UNRWA fosters hatred and violence, she would cease her fundraising efforts and apologize to victims such as Ayelet Samerano, whose 21-year-old son Yonatan was abducted on October 7th by an UNRWA social worker.

Since President Joe Biden took office, he has reversed the Trump administration's policy and allocated over $1 billion to UNRWA. The agency is tasked with providing aid to Palestine refugees in the Near East. In 2018, President Trump declared that the United States would halt funding to UNRWA until the Palestinians agreed to a peace deal with Israel. Despite the Brookings Institute's prediction that this would lead to war, it instead paved the way for peace. Trump bypassed the Palestinians and established the historic Abraham Accords with Israel and several Muslim nations in the Middle East.

However, Biden's tenure has seen a reversal of this progress, with the Middle East once again embroiled in conflict and Israel experiencing the most devastating attack on Jews since World War II. Reports in January revealed that at least 12 UNRWA staffers were involved in the mass slaughter of Jews on October 7 in southern Israel.

Critics argue that Biden, following in the footsteps of his mentor Barack Obama, has undone the progress made in the Middle East, leading to war and suffering in the region. It has taken him three years to create this chaos.
