A star-studded Democratic fundraiser, featuring President Joe Biden and former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, is set to take place on March 28 in New York City.

The event, which will be hosted by Stephen Colbert, the liberal late-night host and staunch Democratic Party supporter, is expected to raise over $10 million.

The fundraiser will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase photos with the three presidents for $100,000. Those who donate $250,000 or $500,000 will be granted access to exclusive events with the Democratic trio. The event is expected to attract over 3,000 attendees.

"This is going to be the biggest fundraising event that Joe Biden has done in his political career. I believe it’s the largest fundraising event in Democratic Party history. It’s also the only time that three [Democratic] presidents have done a [campaign] fundraiser together," said Chris Korge, the Biden Victory Fund national finance chair, as reported by NBC News.

Colbert, who has been the anchor of "The Late Show" since 2015, is known for his support of the Democratic Party. His show frequently features Democrats and liberal journalists, reinforcing the symbiotic relationship between his show and politics.

President Biden recently appeared on a late-night interview with Seth Meyers, where he addressed voter concerns about his age. "Well, a couple of things. Number one, you gotta take a look at the other guy. He's about as old as I am, but he can't remember his wife's name," Biden quipped, eliciting cheers from the audience.

However, the Associated Press reported in February that Biden has held only 33 news conferences during his first three years as president, and granted just 86 formal interviews with the press. This is in stark contrast to Obama, who gave 422 interviews during his first three years in office.

In 2022, Colbert interviewed 13 elected Democratic lawmakers and 13 officials from the Biden and Obama administrations, in the lead-up to the midterm elections. He also hosted 15 liberal journalists or satirists, including former "Full Frontal" host Samantha Bee, MSNBC's Joy Reid, 1619 Project founder Nikole Hannah-Jones, and MSNBC's Chris Hayes.
