The President of the United States, Joe Biden, has been accused of delivering a "slap in the face" to every American during his State of the Union address, according to Brandon Judd, the head of the National Border Patrol Council.

Judd's criticism came after President Biden took approximately 40 minutes to address the contentious issue of immigration during his speech. Judd expressed his dissatisfaction with the President's remarks, stating, "He didn't address what he could do. All he did was blame it on President Trump."

Judd, who has had the opportunity to converse with former President Trump, clarified his stance on Fox News' special coverage of the State of the Union. He stated, "I know that the reason why he didn't support that bill has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with — the president understands it from day one, he could step into office and do a lot more than what that bill does."

Judd further explained that Trump understood that if a bill were passed at present, there would be no inclination to pass a superior bill during his tenure.

In the previous month, the Senate was unable to pass a supplemental spending agreement. This agreement included aid for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, as well as a comprehensive border security and immigration package. This package faced significant opposition from conservative Republicans in both chambers.

Despite the Biden administration and negotiators promoting the bill as a stringent yet equitable solution to the border crisis, it was immediately rejected by Republicans in the House. Conservative opposition in the Senate rapidly accumulated, with over 20 Republican lawmakers arguing that the provisions would not adequately decrease the unprecedented number of illegal migrant crossings. They also warned that it would normalize record-high levels of illegal immigration.

During his State of the Union address, Biden referred to the bill as "a tougher set of border security reforms than we've ever seen," a statement that elicited groans from the Republican audience.

In response to their disapproval, Biden retorted, "Oh, you don't think so? Oh, you don't like that bill, huh? That conservatives got together and said it was a good bill? I'll be darned. That's amazing."

Judd believes that Trump's refusal to support the bill was due to his conviction that it would harm the country. He also suggested that the bill only garnered the support it did due to the predicament President Biden has placed the country in. Despite the National Border Patrol Council's support for the bill, Judd emphasized that this was merely a response to the dire situation under Biden's administration.

Judd elaborated on the current crisis, stating, "We're apprehending seven times more people than what we normally apprehend. We have more than 10 times the got-aways. We've got more fentanyl coming into this country than we've ever seen before. We've got more dangerous criminals coming into this country than we've ever seen before. We've got terrorists on the terrorist watch list that are coming into the country."

Judd criticized Biden for failing to address these issues, stating, "So, he's put us in a position that we're going to accept anything that is better than the status quo, and that bill is better than the status quo."

Judd concluded by stating that it would be "completely disingenuous" for Biden to blame Congress when he possesses the executive authority to "do more than the border bill would ever do."

Judd concluded, "He didn't announce anything today that is actually going to help us secure the border, so that was a slap in the face of all America."
