Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker of the House, disclosed on Wednesday that President Biden uses notecards during private meetings, even with small groups. "He still has a teleprompter when you meet behind closed doors," McCarthy shared with "The Bottom Line" co-hosts on FOX Business. "But the teleprompter are cards. I found when I met with him, it would just be a couple of them. He would read from the card."

McCarthy further explained that it was challenging to steer away from the prepared script during private discussions with Biden, citing an instance when they discussed the debt ceiling. "He just sticks to the cards," McCarthy said of Biden. "And if you deviate from the cards, he can't continue onward there."

This issue is not new. Axios reported on February 23 that Biden often refers to notecards when addressing questions from pre-selected donors at closed-door events. "Biden's reliance on notecards to help explain his own policy positions — on questions he knows are coming — is raising concerns among some donors about Biden's age," the report stated.

However, the issue is not Biden's age per se. The real concern is the President's apparent mental and physical decline, which is becoming increasingly evident.

The standard protocol for presidential elections includes three debates between the final candidates and one vice-presidential debate. It remains to be seen how the Biden campaign will manage these debates. Will they refuse to participate, giving Trump a significant advantage? Or will they allow Biden to participate with his pockets full of notecards, which is likely against the rules?
