At the annual Kansans for Life Valentine’s Day banquet, former NFL star Tim Tebow delivered a moving keynote address that reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the pro-life cause.

Tebow, known for his strong Christian beliefs and pro-life stance, declared that he would rather be remembered for saving unborn children from abortion than for his Super Bowl victories.

Tebow's personal journey has significantly influenced his pro-life activism, underscoring the importance of protecting the lives of the innocent. His speech followed remarks from other influential figures, including Mary Kay Culp, co-owner of the Kansas City Chiefs Lamar Hunt, and several others.

The evening's highlight was undoubtedly the keynote address by Tebow, the former Denver Broncos quarterback. "It is such an honor to be here," Tebow began, expressing gratitude to the archbishop, politicians, and Culp for their efforts to protect the unborn.

Tebow also acknowledged Hunt for his courage and support for the organization, despite facing opposition. "It really does mean a lot more than winning the Super Bowl," Tebow asserted. He further questioned what legacy individuals would choose to leave behind - a Super Bowl victory or the saving of numerous lives.

Tebow emphasized that Kansans for Life is not merely a philanthropic organization. "It's a rescue mission. You know why we call it a rescue mission? Because when we say that, it puts a timeline on it," he explained. He stressed the urgency of the mission, highlighting the limited time available to save unborn lives.

Tebow shared his personal story, recounting how his mother was advised to abort him due to medical complications. She refused, choosing life over her own. "My mom 32 years ago had doctors tell her she needed to abort me because if she didn’t, it was going to cost her life. And they didn’t even believe that I was a baby. They thought I was a tumor," Tebow revealed.

The former NFL star also noted that winning the Super Bowl could provide other pro-life athletes with a larger platform to disseminate their message.

Throughout his life and career, Tebow has been a living testament to his Christian beliefs, often facing criticism from liberal quarters. Despite this, he has consistently demonstrated his faith both on and off the field, earning him a cherished place in American society.
