Comedian Bobby Lee, recognized for his roles in “MADtv” and “A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas,” recently confessed to a shift in his political stance during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Despite not being a typical conservative, Lee admitted to finding himself in the political “middle.”

The podcast’s host, Joe Rogan, lauded the “regular people” of Boston and confessed to his previous existence within the “blue bubble.” He acknowledged his past as a “one hundred percent left-leaning person who lived in Los Angeles,” who never cast a Republican vote, particularly on social issues. However, he admitted to a slightly more conservative approach to financial matters.

Rogan criticized California’s current state, describing it as having gone “full communist” and being “out of its mind.” He specifically condemned the state’s “insane” law enforcement policies, such as no-cash bail and lenient theft prosecution, which he believes have led to the downfall of cities like San Francisco.

Rogan and Lee agreed on the deterioration of San Francisco, with Rogan suggesting that the state could recover only with the intervention of a “hardcore Rudy Giuliani type” figure.
