During their conversation, Dimon introduced himself to Zelenskyy as the CEO of JPMorgan Chase and expressed his well wishes, stating, "God bless you," as reported by Bloomberg.

Zelenskyy's primary objective at the conference is to appeal for investor support to bolster Ukraine's struggling economy. Currently, over $100 billion in aid from the United States and Europe remains uncertain. This marks Zelenskyy's first appearance at the World Economic Forum since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with his last attendance being in 2020.

The White House is also urging Congress to allocate additional funds to Ukraine. In a letter addressed to House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate leaders, White House budget chief Shalanda Young warned that without congressional action, the United States will exhaust its resources to support Ukraine in its conflict against Russia, as reported by Politico.
In October, President Joe Biden proposed a $106 billion supplemental spending package, which includes over $61 billion in emergency funding for Ukraine, following Hamas' attack on Israel.
