Former CNN host, Don Lemon, has announced his return to the media landscape with a new show on X, a platform known for its commitment to free speech and diverse viewpoints.

Lemon, who left CNN in April last year, has been relatively quiet since his departure. However, his new venture with X promises a "bigger, bolder, [and] freer" comeback.

In a statement released on X, Lemon expressed his excitement about the new project, "I've heard you... and today I am back bigger, bolder, freer! My new media company's first project is The Don Lemon Show. It will be available to everyone, easily, whenever and wherever you want it." He further revealed that the show would first be available on X, which he described as "the biggest space for free speech in the world."

Lemon also hinted at more projects in the pipeline, emphasizing the need for a platform that encourages honest debate and discussion without censorship.

Simultaneously, X Business announced a "content partnership" with Lemon for his new show. The 30-minute program, set to air three times a week, will cover a range of topics including politics, culture, sports, and entertainment.

Lemon's decision to join X has been met with largely positive responses, even from previous critics. Fox News host, Tucker Carlson, extended his congratulations, stating, "It's a new world. Welcome."

Social media users also weighed in on the news. One user, despite his personal dislike for Lemon, acknowledged the importance of free speech, saying, "But what's the point of free speech if someone you don't like can't say something you don't like. Bravo [X]."

Another user noted the trend of mainstream media figures moving to alternative platforms, stating, "First Tucker Carlson, and now Don Lemon. Voices from all political spectrums are being ousted from Mainstream Media and joining X, where they will get 1000x more traffic and viewership!"

Despite ideological differences, the user welcomed Lemon's move, stating, "I disagree with virtually everything Don Lemon has to say, but I think it's great news for X and good news for his otherwise dying career."
