Israeli Defense Forces veteran and Republican candidate, Mazi Melesa Pilip, is determined to win the special election for New York's 3rd Congressional District.

Pilip recently spoke with Fox News Digital, sharing her message to New York voters and positioning herself as the best candidate to combat the far-left "Squad" of the Democratic Party in Congress.

Pilip, an Ethiopian Jew and immigrant to Israel and the United States, is a married mother of seven children and a political newcomer. She outlined her background and platform while campaigning against former Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi, who has a long-standing political career in Long Island.

In her interview with Fox News Digital, Pilip criticized Suozzi's claim to be a moderate Democrat, arguing that his voting record aligns with President Biden and the "Squad." She emphasized her own suitability to combat antisemitic rhetoric from Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar, drawing on her personal experiences living in Israel during the second intifada.
