In a recent revelation, it has been reported that Seattle law enforcement was directed to permit anti-Israel protestors to occupy a significant bridge during peak traffic hours on Thursday evening.

The United States Coast Guard was also reportedly in agreement to halt boat traffic in anticipation of the demonstration. The protestors managed to close the drawbridge for over three hours, resulting in substantial traffic delays and miles-long backups.

Inside sources from the Seattle Police Department disclosed to The Post Millennial that a decision was made to surrender the bridge to the far-left activists. However, they did not provide any further details.

On the evening in question, over a hundred pro-Palestinian activists from Seattle converged on the University Bridge during rush hour, blocking all lanes of traffic and effectively shutting it down as they demanded a "ceasefire in Gaza." The group attached an 18-foot "ceasefire menorah" to the bridge and chanted for the genocide of Jews and Christians in Israel.

Seattle police and Washington State patrol allowed the activists to obstruct the bridge for over three hours, making no attempts to disperse them, despite the significant traffic congestion caused by the closure. Seattle politicians, including Democratic Mayor Bruce Harrell, have faced severe criticism for continually permitting the activists to block streets and disrupt public events such as the downtown Christmas Tree lighting.

The Post Millennial reached out to the Seattle Police Department for a comment, specifically seeking information on why no officers had intervened in the illegal demonstration, as per road policy. A spokesperson for the Seattle Police Department responded to The Post Millennial, stating, "This is a question regarding police tactics. This would be better suited for a PDR request. I am not free to discuss SPD tactics and strategies."

Among the protestors was the radical organization Jewish Voices for Peace, which is shunned by mainstream Jewish organizations and has connections to terrorist organizations. Activists wore "Jews for ceasefire now" shirts; however, many of them have been identified from other far-left protests, and they are reportedly not Jewish.

The group arrived with banners specifically targeting Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA), who has so far stood with Israel through the conflict. Activists were also seen holding a banner that read "The whole world is watching."

The activists did not demand the release of the more than one hundred hostages still held captive by Hamas, nor did they express condolences for the victims of the October 7 terrorist atrocity. Pro-Hamas demonstrations invariably feature slogans advocating for genocide, vandalism, graffiti, and anti-police sentiments. However, none of these demands ever involve Hamas's surrender or the release of the detainees being held captive by the terrorist organization.

The Seattle Police Department has faced criticism for its response to the anti-Israel demonstrations that have been occurring throughout the city since Hamas launched its terrorist attack on Israel in early October. Pro-Palestinian activists have repeatedly shut down major lanes of traffic, which is against current laws, and SPD has done nothing to intervene.

Many of these individuals, who have been seen at these ongoing demonstrations, are involved with the extremist militant group, Antifa.

While the decision to intervene in these ongoing road blockades does not come from the officers themselves, it raises questions as to who is making the calls from a higher position of authority.

Days after the deadly Hamas massacre and before the IDF responded in Gaza, chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America began organizing rallies in support of Palestinians and even used graphics of Hamas terrorists parachuting into Israel to advertise the events.

The organization's Palestinian Solidarity Working Group even released a "tool kit," with resources to coordinate pro-Hamas rallies coast to coast.

While many progressive Democrats have renounced their membership in the radical group, it still counts among its members Reps Alexandra Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) and Cori Bush(D-MO) and regularly links to Socialist and Marxist propaganda.

The toolkit had similar themes to the one created by the violent pro-terror activist group Within Our Lifetime (WOL), which took credit for the vandalism of the New York Public Library and targeted the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

Similar to WOL, the DSA also provides graphics and templates for actions and links to many antisemitic organizations.
