According to Maese-Czeropski's LinkedIn profile, he has been serving as a legislative aide in the Senate for over two years, and is an alumnus of both the University of California Berkeley and Johns Hopkins University.

While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace.” He further added, “Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.”
As of now, Senator Ben Cardin has not publicly commented on the video or the allegations against his staffer.
