When asked by the DCNF whether his Democratic colleagues should be pressured to denounce Hamas as a terrorist organization, Fetterman responded, "Everyone should be condemning Hamas. I don’t know why U.N. hasn’t condemned Hamas —" His statement was interrupted by a protester who claimed that the U.N. had indeed condemned Hamas.

Another protester challenged Fetterman, asking, "Do you think everybody should condemn the genocide against the Palestinian people?" To which Fetterman reiterated, "Hamas should be condemned." The exchange escalated when a protester questioned Fetterman's concern for Palestinian children.

Fetterman, known for his outspoken stance, has consistently supported Israel's right to self-defense against the terrorist group. He has even criticized some of his left-wing Democratic colleagues for their pro-Palestinian views.
