Police Clash With Pro-Hamas Rioters Who Disrupted Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting In NYC, Arrests Made

The protest, dubbed "Flood Tree Lighting for Gaza," saw clashes with the police and a disturbing display of anti-Semitic symbols.

A masked individual was spotted carrying a flaming NYPD officer's hat, walking away from the chaotic scene. Another protester was seen brandishing a sign with a Swastika, a symbol associated with hate and anti-Semitism.

According to the New York Post, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters flooded the streets around Rockefeller Center. They clashed with NYPD officers and chanted "river to the sea," a slogan often interpreted as anti-Semitic. Their aim was to disrupt the annual tree lighting ceremony in a show of support for Gaza.

The protesters, waving Palestinian flags and signs calling for an "end to genocide," congregated along Sixth Avenue. They were in the company of numerous tourists who were waiting in line to witness the iconic ceremony.

Unable to reach the NYC Christmas tree, the large crowd swarmed around the tree outside the News Corp building, which houses The Post and Fox News. This building has been targeted by pro-Palestinian protesters on at least two previous occasions.

This incident follows a recent attempt by a mob of left-wing radicals to stage a hostile takeover by storming the lobby at the headquarters of FOX News in New York City. It also comes after the organization Within Our Lifetime (WOL), which identifies itself as a Palestinian-led community organization, created an anti-Semitic 'target' map of 'enemies' in New York and encouraged followers to 'act in their own interest.' The poster, displaying a "Zone of Direct Actions," states, "From Palestine to NYC… Globalize the Intifada."

Despite these incidents, pro-Israel and anti-war conservatives are often labeled as "antisemites" or "neo-Nazis." These law-abiding Americans are targeted by federal agencies like the FBI and TSA, while pro-terror radicals and known or suspected terrorists crossing our open borders with Mexico and Canada go unchecked.

New Yorkers, who are already shouldering an estimated $11 billion bill to care for about 143,000 migrants who have entered their city, are now unable to even celebrate Christmas in peace.

In the meantime, DHS Secretary Mayorkas and TSA Administrator David Pekoske are reportedly flying illegal immigrants around America at taxpayers' expense. At the same time, they are targeting innocent Americans who traveled to DC around the time of the January 6 protest at the US Capitol. Several conservatives, including journalist James O'Keefe, have been placed on the SSSS list, designated for domestic terrorists.

The protest eventually turned violent, with radical leftists attacking police and pulling down barricades. Among the participants, at least one was seen carrying a sign with a Swastika on one side and the message "Free Gaza end genocide" on the other.
