Democratic Representative Jamaal Bowman was recently confronted by CNN reporter Manu Raju regarding his involvement in pulling the fire alarm in the Capitol.

The incident, which occurred in September, was captured on camera and showed Bowman tearing down emergency exit signs before activating the alarm in an attempt to obstruct a crucial vote. Despite the evidence, Bowman has continued to deny his actions and provide misleading statements.

In a previous interview, Bowman arrogantly dismissed the attention surrounding the incident, claiming that he was simply in a rush to go vote. However, last month, he was criminally charged by the DC attorney general for his role in the incident. Bowman subsequently reported to the police station to be booked, fingerprinted, and have his mugshot taken.

In an unexpected turn of events, Bowman announced that he had reached a deal with Democrat DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb to have the fire alarm charges expunged from his record upon payment of a small fine. This lenient treatment stands in stark contrast to the harsh treatment of numerous Trump supporters who have been held in the DC Gulag for their involvement in the January 6, 2021 protests.

During the confrontation with Manu Raju, Bowman was questioned about his contradictory statements regarding the incident. Raju asked why Bowman had pleaded guilty to knowingly pulling the fire alarm when he had previously claimed ignorance.

Bowman responded dismissively, questioning why the issue was still being discussed. Raju pressed further, asserting that Bowman had not been truthful about what had occurred. Bowman, however, maintained his innocence.
