In a recent development, actor and comedian Michael Rapaport has launched a scathing attack on Democratic Representatives Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, collectively known as the Squad.

Rapaport, in a vitriolic Instagram post, labeled the trio as "the biggest squad of Jew haters in the United States."

Rapaport's Instagram post, which tagged Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Tlaib, was captioned: "The Big 3 of Antisemitism!!!" The outspoken actor further commented, "These 3 have hypnotized the World into thinking they’re not All About The Benjamin’s & will soon be out of Politics with a Production Company making Propaganda Content against #jewish people MARK MY WORDS!!!!"

The actor's comments reference two incidents involving Omar that were widely perceived as anti-Semitic. In a 2012 tweet, Omar stated, "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." In 2019, she sparked controversy by suggesting that the Republican Party's overwhelming support for Israel is "all about the Benjamins."

Prominent Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif), Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), James Clyburn (D-S.C.), and Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), issued a statement condemning Omar's remarks as "deeply offensive," labeling them as "anti-Semitic tropes" and "prejudicial accusations."

Rapaport also criticized the Squad members in his Instagram video for propagating "fake news" about an explosion near a hospital in Gaza. He addressed his 2.1 million Instagram followers, stating, "AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, you fake news individuals! You're just as bad as Marjorie Taylor Greene, except I haven't come up with nicknames for you yet!"

The actor continued his tirade, accusing the progressive Democrats of perpetuating hatred against Jews. He demanded that they retract their "fake news tweets" and "fake news statements."

Rapaport clarified that his criticism was not partisan, stating, "Don't get it twisted. I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a Republican. I don't like any of you. I don't trust any of you."

The controversy stems from accusations by Hamas authorities that Israel carried out an airstrike on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, allegedly resulting in over 500 fatalities. However, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) vehemently denies bombing the hospital. U.S. intelligence officials have determined that the explosion at the Gaza hospital was caused by Palestinian fighters. Video footage appears to corroborate this, showing a failed rocket falling back to the ground shortly after launch.

Despite these revelations, Tlaib and Omar initially propagated the narrative from Hamas. Tlaib stated on Tuesday, "This is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslim Americans like me. We will remember where you stood."

Omar tweeted, "Bombing a hospital is among the gravest of war crimes. The IDF reportedly blowing up one of the few places the injured and wounded can seek medical treatment and shelter during a war is horrific." She later attempted to retract her original post about the airstrike.

Ocasio-Cortez, on the other hand, did not mention the blast near the hospital in Gaza. She previously condemned the Hamas attack "in the strongest possible terms" and called for an "immediate ceasefire and de-escalation."
