President Donald Trump made two campaign stops in Iowa on Monday, where he addressed the recent terrorist attacks in Israel, America's role in the conflict, and his plans for border security.

During his visit, he received an endorsement from Iowa's Attorney General Brenna Bird.

Trump pledged to close the U.S. border if reelected, citing his administration's success in reducing illegal immigration by 80 percent. He expressed concern over the number of individuals on the FBI's terror watchlist who have entered the country under President Biden's watch, as well as the recent apprehension of four Iranian nationals attempting to cross the border.

The president emphasized his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of America. He highlighted his accomplishments in combating terrorism, including the obliteration of the ISIS territorial caliphate, the elimination of Al Qaeda leaders, and the targeting of Iran's terrorist mastermind, Kassem Solemani. Trump also mentioned his withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, the imposition of sanctions on the Iranian regime, and the impact of these actions on Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Iranian proxies.

One of the significant achievements of Trump's administration was the creation of the Abraham Accords, which fostered diplomatic and economic collaboration between Arab nations and Israel in the Middle East. He emphasized his support for Israel, citing his recognition of Jerusalem as the eternal capital and the opening of the American Embassy in the city. Trump also highlighted his recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and the achievement of peace in the Middle East through the Abraham Accords.

Trump criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, for his handling of foreign policy, claiming that it has led to increased American involvement in foreign wars and allowed other nations to make military and territorial advances. He accused Biden of presiding over a disastrous US military withdrawal from Afghanistan, the initiation of a war in Ukraine, and the failure to secure American borders, resulting in the entry of millions of illegal immigrants. Trump argued that these factors have contributed to the outbreak of war in the Middle East.

The former president blamed Biden for the resurgence of Iran's power, claiming that when he left office, Iran was weak and desperate for a deal. Trump highlighted his sanctions on Iran and the reduction of its oil exports, which he claimed had crippled the country's economy. However, he criticized Biden for loosening these sanctions, allowing Iran to increase its oil production and generate billions of dollars in revenue. Trump also criticized the release of Iranian prisoners and the unfreezing of Iranian funds, which he argued were being used to support terrorism.
