Country music artist Oliver Anthony has unveiled a new music video for his latest track, featuring a fleeting glimpse of a handgun situated near the passenger seat of his vehicle.

The song, titled "90 Some Chevy," showcases Anthony in a woodland setting, serenading about a woman he likens to a reliable '90s Chevy truck. He croons, “Oh darlin’ of mine is like a 90-some chevy, she rides just right when you turn her on. The only thing that sounds better than that old 350 is when she’s running up to kiss me when I get home, it’s been a hard day.”

Anthony, whose real name is Christopher Lunsford, catapulted to fame when his track, “Rich Men North of Richmond,” went viral. The song, a scathing critique of Washington D.C. politicians and corporate America, resonated with listeners as he lamented about “working all day” and “overtime hours” for inadequate pay.

Residing off-grid on a 90-acre farm in Farmville, Virginia, with his wife and young daughter, Anthony previously worked in aluminum siding sales at a construction supplier. He left his job last year to concentrate on his music career, according to his wife's grandfather in an interview with the New York Post.

Anthony's "Rich Men North of Richmond" quickly ascended the music charts, securing the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot Songs. However, the song also attracted criticism, particularly from left-leaning individuals, while simultaneously being hailed as a conservative anthem by right-leaning audiences.

Following the use of his song during the inaugural Republican presidential debate on Fox News, Anthony expressed his frustration, stating it was “aggravating seeing people on conservative news try to identify with me like I’m one of them.”

In a conversation with Joe Rogan on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Anthony revealed that individuals were attempting to unearth personal details about him, such as his employment history, family, and voting record. He suggested that these efforts were aimed at constructing an image of what the person behind the song represents.
