Sean Hannity, a veteran host at Fox News Channel, will continue to anchor the network's primetime lineup at 9 p.m. ET when the revamped schedule launches on July 17.

This decision ensures that viewers will have a consistent presence in the middle of primetime.

The new lineup will kick off with "The Ingraham Angle" hosted by Laura Ingraham at 7 p.m. ET, followed by "Jesse Watters Primetime" moving to 8 p.m. ET. Hannity's show will remain at its current time slot of 9 p.m. ET, while "Gutfeld!" will debut at 10 p.m. ET. Trace Gallagher will conclude the network's primetime coverage at 11 p.m. ET with "FOX News @ Night."

Hannity expressed his confidence in the new lineup, stating, "I think each host will put their own special fingerprint on the network and on their shows that will offer, you know, great programming. They're all phenomenal."

Last year, Hannity broke the record for the longest-running primetime cable news host in television history, surpassing the previous record held by Larry King. Hannity has hosted a primetime program on Fox News for an impressive 25 years, six months, and 15 days. His success shows no signs of slowing down, making his record seemingly unbreakable in the modern cable news era.

When asked about his record, Hannity humbly responded, "I really don't think about it. If you would've made this bet in October 1996, it would have been the worst bet of your life that I would be in this position." He then added, "Honestly, I'm grateful. I'm doing what I love. I'm in the best shape of my life. I train like a lunatic every day. The way I live my life is very, very disciplined."

Indeed, Hannity's disciplined approach to his work is evident. He starts each morning by catching up on any newsworthy events that occurred while he was asleep, tuning into "FOX & Friends" before engaging in a rigorous session of mixed martial arts and weightlifting. He also reads hardcopy newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal, Daily News, and The New York Post, but admits to avoiding The New York Times.

Throughout the day, Hannity meticulously prepares for his radio show and television program. He scans Fox News' website for any missed news stories, organizes content and notes into piles based on different topics, and constantly sends story ideas to his staff. By 6 p.m. ET, he wraps up his radio show and shifts his focus to television preparation, finalizing his monologue and ensuring his teleprompter operator is ready for any spontaneous moments.

Hannity's dedication to his work extends beyond his on-air responsibilities. After his show concludes, he prepares dinner for himself and begins preparing for the next day, often staying up until 3 a.m. in the process. He attributes his success to his fearlessness, independence, and willingness to outwork everyone else.

Before hosting his own show, Hannity co-hosted "Hannity & Colmes" with the late Alan Colmes. Over the past 26 years, he has interviewed numerous newsmakers, including former President Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and many others. Additionally, Hannity is a bestselling author, with four books on the New York Times bestseller list.
