Chicago Police Under Investigation For These HEINOUS Acts With Female Migrants

One officer is accused of impregnating a teenager, with the reported assaults allegedly occurring at the 10th District police station in North Lawndale. Until recently, the station was used to house migrants in half of its lobby.

The Chicago Police Department's Bureau of Internal Affairs and the Civilian Office of Police Accountability are investigating the allegations. It remains unclear whether the accused officers are still on active duty, and there is no confirmation whether Cook County prosecutors are looking into the matter.

The officers in question are from a West End station that was temporarily converted into housing to accommodate the influx of migrants to the city. Since August 2022, approximately 11,000 migrants have arrived in Chicago, primarily as directed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. The city has faced challenges in finding suitable accommodations for all the migrants, resorting to using police stations, airports, and Wilbur Wright College.

Former Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot declared a state of emergency in May due to the increasing number of migrants in the city. At that time, Chicago dealt with around 8,000 migrants, mainly from Venezuela. Despite being known as a "welcoming city," Lightfoot wrote a letter to Governor Abbott, published in the Chicago Defender, urging him to cease his orders to bus migrants to "sanctuary cities" like Chicago, New York City, and Denver.

She emphasized that the city had reached its limit regarding available shelters, spaces, and resources to accommodate such a significant increase in individuals without proper coordination or care, which posed risks to the migrants and others.

In response to the ongoing situation, current Mayor Brandon Johnson has announced plans to open five new shelters with a combined capacity of nearly 2,500.
