Michael C. Burham, 34, was last spotted in the gym at Warren County Prison at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Warren and Jamestown police, who shared the information on Facebook.
Surveillance footage reveals that Burham entered the gym with three other inmates around 10:40 p.m., as reported by the Erie-Times News, which cited an affidavit filed on Friday.
The footage also shows Burham doing pullups on workout equipment before making his way out of the building through the roof.
According to the complaint, "After escaping from the yard, the Defendant tied a rope which consisted of multiple sheets tied together.

Burham is considered extremely dangerous and is currently facing 26 charges, including eight felonies. Earlier this year, he allegedly kidnapped an elderly couple from Warren County at gunpoint, leading to a multi-state manhunt.
Additionally, Burham is a suspect in the shooting death of 34-year-old Kala Hodgkin in Jamestown on May 11.

The Erie-Times News reported that Burham was facing charges of raping Hodgkin at the time of her murder. On the same day, Burham's former girlfriend reported to the police that he had attempted to break into her Jamestown home before setting her car on fire.

Burham managed to evade authorities for several days until May 20, when Pennsylvania State Police discovered that an elderly couple from Sheffield was missing, along with their Honda SUV, which was mysteriously absent from their driveway.
The couple was eventually found unharmed in a cemetery in North Carolina on May 21, and Burham was arrested in Huger, South Carolina, four days later.

He was initially transferred to New York, where he faced a federal flight charge before being sent to Warren County Prison on June 19.
The evidence against Burham in the kidnapping case includes a handwritten note that was discovered in the stolen SUV in South Carolina, according to an FBI report cited by the Erie-Times News.

The note, addressed to Burham's father, reads in part, "Hey Dad, I'm safe for now, I just left the area. Sorry for all the problems I caused the family.

It remains unclear if Burham fathered any of Hodgkin's three children or if the two had any prior relationship.
Local authorities have advised residents in the vicinity to lock their doors and contact 911 if they notice anything suspicious. Burham was last seen wearing orange and white overalls, crocks, and a denim jacket. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 11.
