Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley issued a stark warning about China's increasing military aggression, emphasizing that the country has surpassed the United States in key areas.

During an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Haley criticized the Biden administration for prioritizing a woke agenda within the U.S. military while China is actively "preparing for war."

She argued that a responsible U.S. administration would focus on countering China's economic and military growth.

Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, stressed the urgency of addressing the Chinese threat. She stated, "China has been preparing for war with us for decades.

And the way we have to deal with China is not to look at it tomorrow because if we keep waiting to deal with them tomorrow, they will deal with us today."

Haley highlighted China's military advancements, pointing out that they currently possess the largest naval fleet in the world with 340 ships, compared to the U.S.'s 293. She also noted that China is developing hypersonic missiles and modernizing its military, while the U.S. military is focused on gender pronoun classes.

Additionally, she emphasized China's superiority in areas such as cyber, artificial intelligence, and space.

This is not the first time Haley has called for a more direct approach in addressing the Chinese threat. In a recent speech, she described China as the "most dangerous foreign threat we've faced since the Second World War."

Haley also highlighted China's economic aggression on American soil, vowing to put an end to China's acquisition of U.S. farmland. She further stated that she would sever normal economic ties with China if necessary to halt the flow of fentanyl across the U.S.-Mexico border.

Haley's current polling numbers in the 2024 Republican presidential primary stand at 3%. However, she expressed confidence that these numbers would change by the fall.

When questioned about her polling numbers, Haley dismissed their significance, stating, "We can look at past presidential elections and understand that national polls just don't matter right now.
