Haley highlighted China's military advancements, pointing out that they currently possess the largest naval fleet in the world with 340 ships, compared to the U.S.'s 293. She also noted that China is developing hypersonic missiles and modernizing its military, while the U.S. military is focused on gender pronoun classes.

Additionally, she emphasized China's superiority in areas such as cyber, artificial intelligence, and space.
This is not the first time Haley has called for a more direct approach in addressing the Chinese threat. In a recent speech, she described China as the "most dangerous foreign threat we've faced since the Second World War."

Haley's current polling numbers in the 2024 Republican presidential primary stand at 3%. However, she expressed confidence that these numbers would change by the fall.
When questioned about her polling numbers, Haley dismissed their significance, stating, "We can look at past presidential elections and understand that national polls just don't matter right now.
