Transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney recently took to social media to criticize the boycott against Bud Light, claiming that it has led to increased bullying and transphobia.

Mulvaney, who is a trans woman and biological male, also expressed disappointment in the lack of support from the company as she faced these challenges.

This controversy comes after Bud Light had previously named Mulvaney as a brand spokesperson and even sent a commemorative beer can with his face on it.

However, Mulvaney's video showcasing the gift sparked a significant backlash among Bud Light consumers, resulting in a loss of billions of dollars in revenue and market value for the beer brand.

Furthermore, Mulvaney criticized Bud Light for hiring a trans person but failing to publicly support her. Mulvaney argued that this lack of support is even worse than not hiring a trans person at all because it gives customers permission to express transphobia and hatred.

Mulvaney stressed that such hate has serious and grave consequences for the entire LGBTQ+ community.
