Yet again, another senseless tragedy and the death of another innocent child amid an argument between adults occurred in Tiffin, Ohio.

According to the New York Post, Johnathan Baker, 23, and his girlfriend argued on Tuesday. Baker told his girlfriend he had feelings of suicide and homicide and claimed he had killed the baby.

Baker abducted the baby girl and fled in a canary yellow Camaro. The baby's mother called the police to report her daughter's abduction. She also said that Baker had made threats, and she believed Baker was armed.

An alert went out to the North Baltimore police to be on the lookout for Baker. According to Tiffin Police Chief David Pauly, an off-duty police officer spotted the Camaro. The officer followed the car while informing other officers who rushed to the location.

A loaded firearm was found in Baker's car by detectives. Police did not say if Baker was the baby girl's father.

Police Chief Pauly said, "My heart breaks for the family of this innocent child, and you can be sure this matter will [be] investigated thoroughly to determine exactly why and what occurred today."
