So far, Carlson is posting his videos on Twitter, using the social media platform to spread the news. However, a report from Dylan Byers of Puck News says that he plans to do much more than that. According to Raw Story, “Byers says that Carlson [is] expected to get help in this venture not only from ‘an incongruous number of ultra-wealthy conservative media investors’ but also from several longtime staffers on his old show that were essentially axed by Fox News this week.”
Carlson’s termination from Fox came after a massive settlement with Dominion Voting Systems. The judge ordered the network to pay $787 million, a hefty chunk even for an extensively large media platform. The lawsuit stemmed from claims made during the 2020 election, which Dominion Voting Systems said were false.

However, several things came to light during the investigation regarding Tucker Carlson. Raw Story says that embarrassing text messages put Carlson in hot water. Dominion’s lawyers revealed one particular message from the news anchor stating his deep-seated hatred for former President Donald Trump. However, at the time of the message, Carlson praised the former President on the airwaves and his loyal viewers.

Fox did not release a statement saying exactly why they let Carlson go. Carlson has yet to say anything that Fox told him, either. This news leaves many viewers to speculate that it’s because of something he said during the last news show he hosted. He said he’d see everyone on Monday, but then he was axed quickly and quietly.
