In a surprise twist, tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are gearing up to exchange coding keyboards for martial arts gloves.

MIT scientist Lex Fridman recently shared captivating snapshots from an impromptu training session with SpaceX owner, Musk as the latter prepares for an unprecedented cage match with Meta's Zuckerberg. Fridman's tweet, posted Tuesday evening, praised Musk's prowess on the mat and their training session's epic intensity.

Fridman offered his followers an intimate glimpse into the high-energy workout, tweeting, "I did an impromptu training session with Elon Musk for a few hours yesterday." Two accompanying photos were intriguing and awe-inspiring: one displayed the Tesla CEO controlling the sparring session, appearing to isolate Fridman's right arm. At the same time, the other showed him completing a hip toss on his training partner.

Commenting on Musk's power and skill during their wrestling match, Fridman expressed admiration quickly, noting, "I'm extremely impressed with his strength, power, and skill, on the feet and on the ground." Nevertheless, he called into question the wisdom of the upcoming cage match, stating, "It's really inspiring to see Elon and Mark doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage."

Musk, famous for his ambitions in interplanetary travel and electric vehicle innovation, acknowledged the session briefly, "That was fun!" His training is now set to continue under the guidance of UFC Hall of Famer George St-Pierre (GSP). GSP, considered one of UFC's finest fighters, extended an invitation via Twitter, saying, "I'm a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg." Musk's reply was brief and to the point, "Ok, let's do it."

While Musk's past training includes judo and Kyokushin, Zuckerberg has honed his Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills for over a year, even claiming victory in an amateur tournament. The idea for their extraordinary face-off sprouted during a Twitter conversation about Meta's efforts to develop a Twitter competitor.

Subsequently, Musk suggested settling their tech competition in a more physical domain—a cage match with Zuckerberg. The Meta CEO of Facebook and Instagram accepted this daring proposition.

Dana White, UFC President, confirmed the two business magnates' seriousness about this potential bout. Speaking to TMZ Sports, White predicted that the contest could become the "biggest fight ever in the history of the world," surpassing even the record-breaking match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. He further speculated that the revenues generated could potentially "triple" the earnings from the Mayweather-McGregor bout, attracting millions of viewers worldwide, regardless of their interest in combat sports.

White's comments underscored the unique appeal of this unprecedented event, "It would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity. You don't have to be a fighting fan to be interested in this fight. Everybody would want to see it."
