In a bold political move, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has announced her intent to introduce impeachment articles against President Joe Biden via a privileged resolution.

This strategy circumvents the typical procedure for presenting bills to the House floor, compelling House Republicans to vote on the issue.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Greene expressed her exasperation with the seeming reluctance of fellow Republicans in Congress to champion impeachment. "I don't know what it's going to take to get them to realize what fools Republicans look like in Congress for not moving forward on impeachment," she said.

Leveling severe accusations against the President, Greene declared, "Joe Biden is a criminal." She further alleged that during his tenure as Vice President, Biden perpetrated "high crimes, and misdemeanors."

Green underpinned her claims with references to an ongoing investigation by the Oversight Committee. "We now know on the Oversight Committee through our investigation that he took a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian oligarch in order to get Victor Shokin fired — the prosecutor that was investigating Burisma," Greene stated.

She further alleged the existence of extensive bank records indicating the wire transfer of funds from numerous foreign entities into a so-called "fake LLC," allegedly connected to the Biden family. Despite these allegations, she said, "Republicans in Congress can't even start the process of impeachment. They can't even begin it at this point."

The privileged resolution presented by Greene on Congress.gov has generated considerable public attention, becoming the most viewed bill on Wednesday. However, according to Greene, her Republican colleagues on the House Judiciary Committee have yet to endorse the impeachment initiative. She expressed disappointment with committee members Ken Buck and Tom McClintock, who she said are reluctant to vote in favor of impeachment.

Greene shared her dismay with the Republican caucus, disagreeing with their current stance on impeachment. Despite this divergence in views, Greene insists on maintaining open lines of communication with the leadership, expressing her continued support for them, notably Kevin McCarthy.

"I support our leadership," Greene affirmed. "I also support Kevin McCarthy. I have all along, and I still support him. But I will have conversations with Kevin McCarthy and the rest of leadership before I file my privilege resolution."

The resolution, Greene stated, could come to a vote as early as Friday. If the legislative language is not ready by then, it will be voted upon in two weeks when Congress reconvenes Washington, DC.
