Pakistan's prominent business magnate, Shahzada Dawood, and his youthful heir, Sulaiman Dawood, are reportedly among the five individuals aboard the OceanGate Expedition's Titan submersible that went missing in the chilling depths of the North Atlantic.

According to family sources, the father-son duo embarked on the voyage to the remnants of the legendary Titanic. However, contact with the submersible was lost approximately two hours after its descent.

Family representatives have expressed gratitude for the outpouring of concern and prayers from the international community, asking for continued thoughts for their loved ones' safety. "We are very grateful for the concern being shown by our colleagues and friends and would like to request everyone to pray for their safety while granting the family privacy at this time," the family said. They further confirmed, "The family is well looked after and are praying to Allah for the safe return of their family members."

Also missing are U.K. billionaire Hamish Harding, an OceanGate pilot, and Paul-Henry Nargeolet, a renowned French mariner celebrated for his profound expertise on the Titanic.

The affluent Dawood's business ventures, notably the Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited, have significantly contributed to his family's wealth. A subsidiary of the corporation, Engro Corporation, echoed the tragic news about Dawood's disappearance. "All that we know so far is that contact was lost with their submersible craft. There is limited information available beyond this that we know, and we humbly request that speculation and theorization is avoided," Engro reported.

OceanGate Expedition's Titan craft, a popular choice for tourists exploring the Titanic's wreck, has an oxygen supply sufficient to sustain five crew for 96 hours post-launch. Consequently, the oxygen supply will deplete if the vessel remains submerged by Thursday.
