Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the potential Democratic presidential nominee, visited Yuma, Arizona, this Tuesday to evaluate the repercussions of the Biden administration's border policies.

During his visit, he spoke with local authorities, Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls and Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot, who grapple with the aftereffects of the border crisis.

In a poignant scene at an unfinished portion of the border wall — an ambitious project abruptly halted by President Biden on his first day in office — Kennedy recorded via his cellphone hundreds of foreign nationals allegedly infringing upon U.S. immigration laws to illicitly infiltrate the country.

"We're looking at a situation that is neither good for our country nor for the people involved. It's an unsustainable phenomenon," Kennedy pronounced in the video, as immigrants from nations like China, Peru, and Afghanistan were purportedly seen in the background.

Kennedy elucidated on Tuesday morning, with immigrants infiltrating the border merely a few feet away, "Over the past three years, approximately seven million people have illegally crossed our border. They're brought to the Border Patrol's station by these buses, processed, and after four to five days, released into our country on their own recognizance. Sadly, most of them disappear and never resurface."

Data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection corroborate Kennedy's claims. Over 1.4 million foreign nationals illegally crossed the border from October to April. From October 2021 to September 2022, southwest land border encounters soared to over 2.3 million, and another 1.7 million entered illegally between October 2020 and September 2021. Alarmingly, this group includes individuals suspected of terrorism.

Illegal immigration, even before the cessation of Title 42 — a policy that expelled around 2.8 million illegal immigrants from the U.S. — imposed a hefty burden of $151 billion per year on taxpayers. This figure excludes the extensive societal harm inflicted by crimes habitually perpetrated by criminal noncitizens.

Recently, Kennedy tweeted about Francisco Oropeza Perez-Torres, an illegal immigrant deported to Mexico four times, now arrested for the brutal murder of five individuals, including a 9-year-old boy, on April 28.

"Advocating for an immigration system that bars criminals doesn't amount to anti-immigrant bigotry," Kennedy opined. "As President, I will enforce a secure border, and I will expand the LEGAL immigration that made our country great."

Disturbingly, Perez-Torres is not an isolated case. This year has seen 493 convictions for assault or battery, 792 for drunk driving, 129 for sexual offenses, 12 for murder, and thousands for other crimes committed by noncitizens. During Biden's presidency, over 120 murder convictions have been reported. From 2017 to 2020, there were 11 murder convictions in total.

In a recent Twitter Spaces conversation with Elon Musk, Kennedy revealed his plan to seal the U.S.-Mexico border permanently. He intends not only to reestablish U.S. sovereignty and curtail crime but also to prohibit foreign nationals from unlawfully entering the country and depleting resources meant for American citizens facing hardship.
