Two Indiana school teachers are facing allegations of forcing a 7-year-old special education student to consume his vomit, as reported by the police.

Shocking accusations have emerged against two educators at Brown Elementary School in Brownsburg, Indiana. The pair, employed by the Brownsburg Community School Corp., allegedly abused a 7-year-old student during class.

On April 20, Brownsburg Police Department disclosed that its detectives had discovered evidence of abuse involving a 7-year-old boy enrolled in the Life Skills program at Brown Elementary School.

Sara Seymour, a 27-year-old Brown Elementary Life Skills Teacher, and Debra Kanipe, a 63-year-old Brown Elementary Life Skills Instructional Aide, have been charged with neglect, a Level 6 felony, and failure to report, a Class B misdemeanor.

WGN-TV reported that the Hendricks County Prosecutor’s Office had filed criminal charges against five staff members concerning mistreating a special education student during lunchtime. Brownsburg Community School Police became aware of the incident on April 12, although the abuse allegedly occurred during a lunch period in February, according to the investigation.

Authorities claim that the teachers asked a special education student to eat his vomit using a spoon in February while other children were present. The teacher allegedly informed the student that he would have to eat whatever he regurgitated if he needed to vomit. The child vomited on a tray provided by the second teacher, and the aide charged with neglect subsequently handed the child a spoon, police said.
