Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis has investigated allegations that former President Trump attempted to overturn the Georgia election in 2020.

Now, she says that she will announce the charges this summer. The Gateway Pundit says that Willis requests additional security around the courthouse from July 11 to September 1.

According to The Gateway Pundit, “‘I am providing this letter to bring to your attention the need for heightened security and preparedness in coming months due to this pending announcement,’ Fani Willis wrote in a letter obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.”

She knows that charges against Trump may provoke the public and is trying to prepare for the possible unrest ahead of time. Most people following the situation saw this coming. NBC obtained a copy of the letter.

According to NBC, “‘Open-source intelligence has indicated the announcement of decisions, in this case, may provoke significant public reaction,’ Willis wrote. ‘We have seen in recent years that some may go outside of public expressions of opinion protected by the First Amendment to engage in acts of violence that will endanger the safety of our community. As leaders, it is incumbent on us to prepare.’”

Willis put in a request for a special grand jury regarding the investigation into former President Trump. A leak on CNN says she’s considering conspiracy charges and RICO charges against the former President.

However, many outlets point to the doctored evidence to support the claim that these charges are phony. For many, it’s the same witch hunt we continue to see.

According to The Gateway Pundit, “Fani Willis based her investigation on President Trump’s call with Georgia officials that was later doctored and leaked to the fake news outlet Washington Post. The WaPo published a completely fraudulent text of the call. The Gateway Pundit and others have already debunked these phony charges.”
