Actress Cheryl Hines has allegedly lost jobs in Hollywood due to her support of her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and his presidential campaign.

During an interview with Breitbart News Daily, Kennedy spoke about the existence of cancel culture and its effects on his wife's career.

Kennedy, the son of political titan Robert F. Kennedy, spoke about the fear and pressure his wife has faced due to his decision to challenge President Joe Biden for the Democrat nomination. When asked whether Hines has experienced anxiety and pressure in Hollywood, Kennedy stated, "Yes. I think that is already happening."

Kennedy did not provide specific details about the alleged job losses, but leftists previously criticized Hines for supporting her husband's campaign. Despite previously criticizing her husband's anti-vaccine advocacy, Hines issued a short statement defending her husband's presidential run, saying, "He is a fearless leader who understands the needs of the American people and has devoted his life fighting for democracy."

Last year, Hines publicly denounced her husband after he made controversial statements about Holocaust victim Anne Frank during a vaccine mandate rally in Washington, D.C. Hines said, "My husband's reference to Anne Frank at a mandate rally in D.C. was reprehensible and insensitive. The atrocities that millions endured during the Holocaust should never be compared to anyone or anything. His opinions are not a reflection of my own."

Transgender activist Charlotte Clymer expressed disappointment with Hines' support of her husband, saying, "Yeaaaah, I held out as long as I could, but I've lost all respect for Cheryl Hines...when even the Kennedy family is refusing to support RFK, Jr.'s bid for office, that's the biggest red flag and the only one you really need."

Kennedy's allegations about cancel culture in Hollywood have sparked concern about the influence of political views on individuals' careers. The issue of cancel culture has become a topic of debate in recent years, with some arguing that it suppresses free speech and stifles dissenting opinions.

The entertainment industry is known for its liberal-leaning views and actors and actresses who publicly support conservative politicians or express conservative views often face backlash.

Many celebrities have faced criticism and negative repercussions for supporting former President Donald Trump or expressing skepticism about vaccine efficacy and safety.

The allegations made by Kennedy raise questions about whether cancel culture has infiltrated Hollywood and whether individuals with differing political views are being unfairly targeted for their beliefs.

Kennedy's comments highlight the need for a more open and accepting discourse, where individuals can express their opinions without fear of retribution or persecution.
