Renowned news host Megyn Kelly fiercely defended her stance yesterday after being labeled “transphobic” for demanding an apology from Anheuser-Busch's CEO regarding Bud Light's partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, which has drawn criticism from conservatives.

During a passionate discussion on Sirius XM's "The Megyn Kelly Show," the host accused Mulvaney of ridiculing "womanhood and girlhood" and chastised Bud Light's producer, asserting: "Screw you and your vacuous platitudes."

By endorsing a transgender woman who has been "praised by far-leftists nationwide," Kelly argued that Anheuser-Busch had, in their own words, inserted themselves into a conversation that divides people.

Following her remarks, Kelly received backlash, with detractors claiming she intentionally misgendered Mulvaney and appeared transphobic.

However, in a tweet on Tuesday, the podcast host refuted these claims, informing her 2.7 million followers that she is “speaking the truth.”

She posted: "Label me with whatever terms you prefer. I am speaking the truth. Neither I nor the millions of other women (and men) who believe in biology/reality/fairness will be dissuaded by your attempts to marginalize us with terms like ‘transphobic.’"

The former Fox News host's tweet has since gone viral, amassing over 5.5 million views and nearly 50,000 "likes."

Kelly's message directly responded to an article in The Wrap, which reported on her previous comments during a conversation with Michael Knowles of 'The Daily Wire.' The two joined many conservative Americans urging Anheuser-Busch to apologize for the collaboration.

The duo contended that a statement on Friday from Brendan Whitworth, the brewing company's CEO, was inadequate as it did not explicitly apologize for the campaign.

Kelly discussed the matter with Knowles, "This individual, featured on their beer can, has mocked womanhood and girlhood for the past year and has been celebrated by far-leftists across the country."

She continued, "But witnessing a supposedly mainstream beer company engage in this behavior was a step too far. That's why they are experiencing the reaction they are."

Knowles asserted that by sponsoring Mulvaney, "Budweiser (also produced by Anheuser-Busch) had insulted women, but by issuing this statement, they’ve insulted Americans."

On April 1, the single-post campaign featured Mulvaney, a prominent transgender influencer, displaying a beer can with her face on it, sent by Bud Light to commemorate her first anniversary of transitioning.

Mulvaney documented each day of her first year following her gender transition on TikTok, garnering over 10 million followers.
