Analysts expected the economy to add 238,000 jobs and the unemployment rate to hold steady at 3.6 percent.”

Biden agreed the job report was good news for Americans who work hard. The President took all the credit for the economy’s good health, saying his administration’s policies had been responsible for the economic recovery. He acknowledged that more work was still needed to keep the economy on the right path.
