Saudi Crown Prince's Shocking Words To Joe Biden Jeopardize U.S.-Saudi Relations

Reports are coming forth that the Prince has expressed indifference towards President Biden.

A recent report in the Wall Street Journal notes that the Crown Prince has expressed to his associates that Riyadh isn’t interested in keeping the United States happy.

The Cryptopolitan reported that the Crown Prince wasn’t concerned if Biden misunderstood him and that the United States would be better served if the powers that be focused on its interests.

With deteriorating relations between Saudi Arabia and the Biden Administration, the Prince’s comments do not come as a surprise.”

Surprises from Saudi Arabia are being met with disapproval by the U.S. Last week, major oil producers, including Saudi Arabia, announced a significant cut of up to 1.15 million barrels per day beginning in May and going through the end of the year.

What this means for consumers is with OPEC reducing oil production, gasoline prices will increase worldwide.

According to the Gulf Research Center based in Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported that major oil producers are proving they can break away from the U.S. and pressure from the West and follow their autonomous policy.

Jim Krane, a research fellow at the Baker Institute, said, “We’re in a Saudi First oil market now. Producers don’t just earn more; they enjoy far more geopolitical leverage when markets are tight.”

CIA director Bill Burns added his comments when he told Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman the U.S. felt “blindsided” by the country’s decision to move forward with a more independent foreign policy stance with newly repaired ties with Syria and Iran.

Saudi Arabia agreed to re-establish ties with Iran last month. China was responsible for getting the two countries to agree to work together. A U.S. official has said the U.S. would wait this out to see its impact on the country.
