A massive police presence flocked to Trump Tower in Chicago due to a domestic disturbance.

Wabash Avenue was shut down in both directions while officers addressed the incident. It’s currently believed that this was an isolated incident.

According to The Blaze, “Just before 11:30 AM on Wednesday, an unidentified woman was spotted entering the hotel along the Chicago River. Reports indicate that the incident may be related to a domestic dispute and that the woman allegedly stated she “was tired of being abused by her husband.’’

The woman may live in the building. The building has units for purchase and offers both short and long-term stays. The woman allegedly headed to an apartment on the 27th floor, where SWAT teams immediately headed.

Chicago police say that there is no danger to the public. There are currently no reports of shots being fired. No one believes this is a terrorist incident.

The Blaze says, “Though police seem cautiously optimistic that the incident has been contained, at least part of the building was temporarily locked down. A resident identified only as Steve told WBBM that he had been prevented from re-entering his home after he stepped outside the building for a moment.”

Instead, it’s believed to be an isolated incident involving a personal domestic matter. The woman had a gun and stated that she was sick of her husband abusing her and then headed into an apartment. Although the incident occurred in Trump Tower, it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with former President Donald Trump.

However, this is just one day after former President Trump was in NYC to be arrested and formally charged with 34 felonies. Trump pled not guilty and was later released. After leaving NYC, the former President headed back to Mar-a-Lago, where he gave a passionate speech about the charges being politically motivated.
